CEBA
The federal government extended the application deadline for the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) from August 31st to October 31st, 2020. The government also announced that they were working on a solution to make the CEBA program available to those with qualifying payroll or non-deferrable expenses that so far have been unable to apply due to not operating from a business bank account.
More details to come on the CEBA expansion for business operating without a business bank account.
If you have not already done so, consider applying for the CEBA program. CEBA provides interest-free loans of up to $40,000. You can apply for CEBA directly through your primary financial institution.
Visit our previous blogs on CEBA here and here, or the CEBA website, for more information.
